Indian classical dance is offered weekly for all age groups. Kathak dance style consists of beautiful spins and intricate footwork
Different styles of wellness classes are offered to groups and private lessons on demand. Wellness classes include power yoga, prenatal yoga, postnatal yoga, and barre.
Juliana's passion and formal training for dance started at the age of three in the Bay Area. She trained in Kathak, an Indian classical dance form, and has continued dancing for over 25 years. Her Kathak dance techniques come from two different styles called Lucknow and Jaipur. Additionally, she was trained in another Indian classical dance form for three years called Odissi. With the combination of these dance styles bringing grace, elegance, and complex techniques of Kathak, MKD Dance School holds a unique touch and form to Kathak dance. MKD Dance School was founded in 2010.
Juliana's training in multiple other dance styles, led to offer fusion classes that bring an exciting dance style on the stage.
In addition to her dance passion, Juliana has trained in 500+hours teaching power and prenatal yoga. After a tough pregnancy journey, her passion has increased to help women in need during an exciting and sensitive time.
